Today I changed our page name on Facebook from “Furnished rooms and apartments” to “Private rooms near Vienna in Haus Feuchtl”. Just as I am constantly changing and improving the furnishings in the guest rooms, I am always presenting a different side of Haus Feuchtl on social media. Only what you like to do becomes good, they say. From this point of view, Haus Feuchtl must really be a good thing, because my thoughts are constantly revolving around what I could change to make everything even nicer, better, cozier or more interesting. And I am really passionate about what I do. When someone rents a monthly room from us, before they move in, I think about what I could quickly rearrange or change, depending on whether I have the impression that they are a practical, romantic or more playful type, so that they feel really comfortable and have it exactly the way they want it. If it can be arranged, I even do this with vacation guests, especially if they are regular guests whose wishes and needs I already know.
At first I called our site Monatszimmer Nähe Wien for a while, until a tenant from Germany once said that he was completely unfamiliar with the term Monatszimmer. I asked him what he was looking for.“Furnished rooms and apartments“, he replied, “perhaps also private rooms near Vienna“, but the word Monatszimmer was completely foreign to him. So I quickly renamed my Facebook page “Furnished rooms and mini apartments”. And this morning it suddenly occurred to me whether a private room might not be better suited to the family atmosphere in our house. I think it sounds more personal and homely somehow.
From now on you can find us on Facebook as a private room near Vienna in “Haus Feuchtl”. Until further notice 🙂
