Franz FEUCHTL’s work has a poetic and symbolic quality full of subtleties and nuances. He visualized his personal visions in his colourful paintings. Franz FEUCHTL did not paint the scientifically visible reality, but the reality behind it and you can feel how he draws from the full, so direct and passionate in their depiction and full of surprises are his pictures.

A selection of Franz Feuchtl’s works is on display at HAUS FEUCHTL in Purkersdorf near Vienna, where the painter lived and worked until his death.
